I have spent time wondering if therapy was right for me. My initial therapy session, not with Linda, scared me off from therapy for a bit. However, after I had the courage to start back up again, Linda made me feel supported and understood. She was able to understand my goals and expectations for therapy and ensure that we worked on progressing those as much as possible. She allowed me the space to share how things are, provide meaningful feedback where I knew she listened and understood my point of view, and also shared some tools or ideas that could be beneficial for my well-being. Prior to therapy, I was (and still kind've am with stronger boundaries) a workaholic which led to me being pretty successful in my career, but also neglecting other parts of my life. Burnout before was a fairly regular thing prior to therapy. Now, I know what things for me to do to reduce that as much as possible and better compartmentalize different parts of my life so it doesn't feel like work is everything. As a result of her guidance, I'm able to live a happier, more balanced lifestyle. I feel like my relationships with friends and family outside of work has strengthened a lot more. I've reconnected with hobbies that I neglected and really motivated to even try new things. My mindset has shifted from "what can I do to make even more money?," to now "what will bring me more happiness?" I'm incredibly happy having worked with Linda and truly think that therapy is right for any person. Being able to talk things through, understand perspectives, and learn how to better balance aspects of life is something I would recommend for everyone.

I wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for Linda's exceptional support and guidance throughout my therapy journey. My experience has been nothing short of transformative, and I credit Linda's dedication and expertise with much of my progress. I felt welcomed and understood when I spoke to Linda virtually. She created a safe environment where I felt comfortable expressing myself openly and honestly. This sense of acceptance and validation was crucial in fostering trust and allowing me to delve into the deeper layers of my emotions and experiences. One particular aspect of your service that genuinely stood out to me was the personalized approach to therapy. Instead of applying a one-size-fits-all methodology, Linda took the time to understand my unique needs and tailor treatment accordingly. Whether through cognitive-behavioral techniques or mindfulness practices, each session was crafted to address my specific challenges and goals. I like how Linda paired videos and images in her psycho-education to explain things in terms I could understand. Beyond the therapy sessions themselves, I felt supported every step of the way. Linda's practice prioritized holistic wellness, providing resources and encouragement to nourish my mental and emotional health. Whether recommending self-care practices, offering reading materials, or connecting me with additional support networks, Linda went above and beyond to ensure I had the tools and support necessary for my healing journey to discover my self-identity. The impact of therapy has extended far beyond the confines of our virtual session. Through our work together, I've gained invaluable insights and coping strategies that have profoundly influenced my daily life. I've learned to recognize and challenge negative thought patterns, cultivate self-compassion, give myself self-validation, and navigate difficult emotions with greater resilience and understanding. As a result, I've experienced improvements in my relationships, work, and overall sense of well-being. In summary, my therapy journey with your practice has been life-changing. I am deeply grateful for the unwavering support, compassion, and expertise I've received. Thank you for empowering me to embark on a path of healing and growth and guiding me toward a brighter, more fulfilling future.

As a veterinarian, I had always been stressed and anxious with the responsibilities of the profession. I had begun going to therapy as my anxieties had become exacerbated by the pandemic. In therapy with Linda, I realized that some of these anxieties were self driven and related to my own high expectations. I was able to self reflect and determine what was most important to me. As a result, I made changes to my work situation that allowed me better work-life balance and pursuit of my interests. Linda also helped me address issues with my relationships with my family, significant others and friends. I learned to accept things that I could not change and focus on things within my control. Therapy with Linda really provided me with the guidance to make positive changes to my life including incorporating the seven types of rest. Thank you again!
